TIBCO Adapter for COM

TIBCO Adapter for COM allows users to use ordinary COM interfaces to send messages over TIBCO information bus. It relieves the user from writing complex code to manage a messaging session or to marshal application data into messages. Instead, user develops a COM interface

·               Managed a group of 5 engineers including 2  test engineers

·               Participate actively in project related meetings and to gather all requirements. Gather functional, non-functional and all type of requirements

·               Developed Capabilities by using ATL COM library, which allows COM components to be driven by messages flowing off TIBCO information bus. Using the graphical administration tool, messages on a particular subject can be mapped to a particular COM method. When the service component of TIBCO Adapter for COM is started,

·               Implement module by using C++ template which automatically creates an instance of the co class and starts listening on TIBCO Rendezvous for messages on the configured subject.

·               I used TIBCO RV, MQ series for communication.

Encoder/Decoder for H.225 and H.245 using ASN.1 (aligned PER)

H.323 is a communication protocol standard approved by ITU-T. This protocol uses H.225 for call signalling and H.245 for multimedia channel management.

·               product Management and Capturing specific technical and business requirements.

·               Creating functional specifications and directing engineering teams.

·               Understands tradeoffs between technology and business exigency

·               Techno-Commercial communications to client staff at Upper levels on various New Development and Plans.

·               Provide substantial remote support, guidance, and advice to other teams across the company.

·               Managed the following Development activities

·                    Developed encoder/decoder by using ASN.1 (Abstract Syntax Notation), C++, STL and it uses Aligned PER Encoding. Messages that are exchanged by the H.323 protocol need to be encoded in this format.

·                    Designed a C++ wrapper class for parser that can parse incoming and outgoing message. That would parse the ASN grammar and would then output C code (and related structures) that an application programmer could include in their application to encode and decode H.323 messages.

·                    Designed a framework in UML diagram that responsible for Converting ASN.1 data structures to C structures and vice-versa was difficult to do by hand as there are over 1500 structures that constitute the H.225 and H.245. These specifications were also growing as newer versions of the protocol are developed

·                    Used delegate design pattern for handling various types of messages. Also used for proxy    design pattern for handling memory management

Environment:  RHT Linux  9.0, C++ STL, MySQL, Flex Bison, Lex &Yacc, Socket programming,ASN.1

SIP PARSER

SIP is a communication protocol standard approved by the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force). SIP provides the signalling capability for multimedia communication across IP based Networks. SIP messages are encoded in plain text.

·               product Management and Capturing specific technical and business requirements.

·               Creating functional specifications and directing engineering teams.

·               Managed the following Development activities

·        Developed parser by using C++, STL library. Parser used for unified messaging services that would decode the SIP message and store the components of the SIP message in a data structure.

·        Designed Use cases, Class diagram, sequence diagram for parser. Text encoded messages was difficult to convert into a binary format that the application can easily decipher and operate on.

·        Developed a parse Capabilities to solve the issues in text, presence of white spaces which while making the message human readable makes it difficult for easy translation.

·        Thread pooling and multi request mechanism, session handling developed in C++ for Central unit of unified messaging system.

·        Parser support all SIP messages which are present in RFC3261.

Environment: Linux 9.0, C++, SIP (RFC 3261), SIMPLE, MySQL, Radvision SIP stack

IP Telephony (Telephony system on Internet)

H.323 based PC phone: Implemented over RADVision's H.323 stack V 2.5, C++, STL, Own custom library .this application provides standard phone functionality (voice communication, caller ID, call hold, call transfer, voice mail, touch tone response, call reject).

Phone COM object: I have developed a COM object by using ATL COM library, win32 which provides interfaces for accessing H.323 phone services such as making a call, receiving intimation about incoming call, taking a call, sending touch tone input, call transfer etc. I was in the process of extending this for SIP as well. As a result clients of this COM object will be able to produce SIP and H.323 compliant phones in a rapid development environment like Visual Basic - and without having to learn the protocol details.

VXML interpreter: The Voice Extensible Mark up Language (VoiceXML) is a new computer language designed to make Internet content and information accessible via voice and phone. With the support of leading Internet industry players, VoiceXML has made speech-enabled applications on the Internet a reality. I have implemented one of the few fully functional VXML interpreters available today.

H.323 call generator: This is a test tool I have developed in C++, C, win32 that used for stress testing H.323 devices and for checking compliance. The tool allows a number of calling parameters to be specified such as duration of channel connect for individual channels, number of incoming and outgoing channels, time profile of calls etc.

Environment: Linux, Windows, C++ Visual Basic and VC++ (Com/Win32Api), ATL COM, H.323, Radvision H.323 stack
